AEG Vision is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations and support patient flow and care coordination. You will collaborate across the care team to ensure efficient scheduling and a high-quality patient experience.

The role requires anticipatory communication, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting, while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and EMR familiarity.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work across teams and protect patient confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients, answer calls, and manage emails as primary contact.
• Schedule appointments and optimize provider schedules.
• Confirm appointments and reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter demographics in EMR.
• Prepare patient charts and documentation pre-visit.
• Collect charges, co-pays, and process payments in EMR.
• Run reports to ensure billing is up to date.
• Monitor daily patient flow and adjust schedules.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for smooth transitions.
• Assist retention through recalls and annual visits.
• Maintain a clean, patient-ready front office.
