Qualifications

• Ability to verify insurance and enter demographic data accurately in EMR.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, vendors, and callers in a professional manner.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails promptly.
• Schedule patient appointments and optimize provider calendars.
• Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and input patient demographics in EMR.
• Explain coverage, benefits, and patient financial responsibility.
• Prepare patient charts and documentation ahead of visits.
• Collect and record charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR; monitor balances.
• Run reports to ensure charges are billed and up to date.
• Monitor daily patient flow and adjust schedules to prevent bottlenecks.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients to maintain satisfaction.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for smooth transitions during visits.
• Support recall and follow-up to retain patients for annual/medical appointments.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming front office.
