Job summary

CPIhealth is seeking a friendly, organized Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will support registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, phone communication, and account management in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems NextGen or ECW preferred.
• Strong organizational, judgment, communication and analytical skills; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, schedule appointments, and maintain records.
• Verify insurance and update patient accounts at visits.
• Protect confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
• Process payments and balance cash/receipts; manage mail and deliveries.
• Scan paper records into the EHR and maintain waiting area.
