Qualifications

Responsibilities

Answer phones, schedule appointments, check patients in/out, and coordinate specialist appointments.
Collect patient balances, copays, and credit card payments at time of service.
Review lists of patients needing appointments and call to schedule when due.
Verify demographics and insurance carrier information for every patient.
Assist patients with Kiosk sign-in.
Comply with OSHA and DOH standards.
Schedule, coordinate, and track STAT referrals and pre-authorizations.
Protect patients’ demographic, clinical and financial information per guidelines.
Provide superior customer service and outstanding patient care.
Attend meetings/workshops related to current position and office workflows.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
