Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of scheduling in a multi-specialty clinic is preferred.
• Experience with hospital scheduling systems and patient communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule follow-up visits and return visits.
• Obtain pre-certification and pre-authorizations as needed.
• Schedule medical tests and procedures and communicate instructions to patients.
• Call patients to schedule procedures and provide instructions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and utilize hospital systems.
