Qualifications

• Experience: One year of work experience in a medical front office setting.
• Experience: One year of experience with a multi-line phone system.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Working Knowledge: Ability to maintain quality assurance and effective relationships with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer a multi-line phone system and schedule appointments on EPIC.
• Route patient calls to the appropriate personnel using voicemail, PowerChart Office, and paging software.
• Verify patient insurance and demographic information; reschedule patients for return visits.
