Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Scheduler for our Call Center in the MetroWest MA region. The role handles a high volume of inbound calls for appointment scheduling, registration, and referrals, with on-site training and potential remote work after onboarding.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 0-1 years in healthcare or call center customer service, preferably with Epic experience. The position is 40 hours weekly with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Epic experience in a medical office is preferred.
• 0-1 year of customer service in a call center is ideal.
• Ability to manage calls professionally and diffuse upset callers.

Responsibilities

• Answer or make calls to learn about and address client needs, complaints, or issues.
• Respond quickly and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions.
• Engage in active listening, confirming information and diffusing anger.
• Use software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
• Meet or exceed call center metrics while delivering consistent service.
• Follow all policies and training requirements.
