LUX Infusion is a U.S.-based organization reimagining infusion and specialty care with clarity, compassion, and connection. We seek a Patient Support Specialist to ensure refill coordination, prescription management, and patient communication.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, HIPAA, and collaboration with pharmacy operations to keep therapy on track. This onsite Totowa, NJ position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration/certification or commitment to obtain within 60 days.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Experience with data entry, healthcare systems, and medical terminology.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and related technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prescription refills, outreach, and documentation for specialty or infusion therapy.
• Communicate professionally with patients and providers to gather information and renewals.
• Submit insurance re-authorizations to prevent delays in therapy.
• Ensure clinical and regulatory compliance and escalate to a pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records, demographics, and insurance documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations teams to support timely dispensing and refill coordination.
• Adhere to state Board of Pharmacy regulations and HIPAA requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient support workflows with high accuracy.
