Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration and/or certification in good standing.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Experience with data entry, technology navigation, and basic medical terminology.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prescription refill outreach and follow-up.
• Gather required documentation from patients and provider offices.
• Submit insurance re-authorizations and prior authorizations.
• Communicate professionally with patients and providers while complying with all state pharmacy regulations and HIPAA requirements.
• Assist with processing e-scripts, faxes, refills, labels, and delivery coordination.
