Job summary

At LUX Infusion, we’re reimagining infusion care for patients in Van Nuys, CA. We are seeking a Patient Support Specialist to coordinate refills, collect necessary documentation, and assist with therapy continuity under pharmacist supervision.

You will communicate with patients, providers, and pharmacy teams with empathy, ensuring compliant, efficient processes and strong referral relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in healthcare or related field.
• Ability to navigate data entry and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with pharmacy workflows and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prescription refill outreach and follow-up to support ongoing patient care.
• Gather documentation from patients and provider offices to support therapy continuation.
• Submit insurance re-authorizations and prior authorizations as needed.
• Communicate professionally with patients and providers while complying with state pharmacy regulations and HIPAA.
• Ensure screening questions are asked and escalate concerns to a pharmacist.
• Maintain patient, insurance, and referral documentation in designated systems.
