Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists the department in managing expectations surrounding pre and post patient care.
• Obtains or reviews all patient demographic and insurance information.
• Reviews clinical records for completeness including authorization and signatures.
• Answers multiple telephone lines, triages calls, and documents messages.
• Greets visitors and callers and directs them appropriately.
• Works cooperatively to improve workflow and coverage when needed.
• Develops effective communication with physicians, managers, peers, trainees, and staff.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies.
• Supports onboarding and training as needed.
