Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks a Clinical Coordinator to lead daily operations on the unit, coordinating staffing and patient care delivery. The role guides the unit-based team, maintains records and drives performance improvement while ensuring budget compliance.

The incumbent will oversee hiring, staff development and patient care interventions, with emphasis on service quality and regulatory compliance across the unit.

Qualifications

• RN license in NJ or PA required for work location.
• Two to five years nursing experience in unit specialty preferred.
• Evidence of successful completion of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, directs and evaluates daily operations for the unit.
• Assigns patient care responsibilities to the unit-based team.
• Maintains departmental records for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Facilitates staff education activities (orientation, competency, in-services).
• Participates in hiring and counseling staff.
• Manages daily operations within budget parameters.
• Conducts patient assessments and develops care plans with expected outcomes.
• Implements and documents patient care interventions per care plan.
