Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, and record patients' conditions.
• Strong record-keeping and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to complete in-service training.
• Career-minded, long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes patients and visitors with a warm smile and directs inquiries; checks in patients.
• Delivers a high level of customer service by ensuring patient satisfaction and optimizing provider time.
• Manages scheduling operations and maximizes provider availability and treatment room usage.
• Maintains on-time patient flow by notifying clinicians of arrivals and delays and updating the schedule.
• Receives and processes faxes; ensures timely communication and documentation.
• Performs data entry into the EMR system and updates patient treatment plans.
• Generates reports and lists with high accuracy; assists with financial reconciliations.
• Assists with coordinating therapies by obtaining prescription updates and plans of care.
