Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England’s Enfield Primary Care team seeks a friendly, organized Business Services Representative to manage front desk duties, scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and copay collection. You’ll be the first point of contact, creating a welcoming environment for patients.

In this non-clinical role you will greet patients, answer phones with scripted responses, route calls, schedule appointments, verify coverage, prepare charts, and support providers in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills and accuracy with Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients in person or by phone in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answers calls timely and routes to appropriate staff with scripting.
• Schedules patient appointments per department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
• Processes registrations, insurance verification, referrals, and collects copays/payments.
