Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England's Farmington Primary Care team is seeking a friendly Business Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet patients, handle scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and collect copays and payments at the time of service.

You will also coordinate pre-authorizations, referrals, and help prepare charts to ensure smooth visits while supporting the providers in delivering compassionate primary care to the Farmington

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
• Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity.
