Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England's Urology Practice in West Hartford is seeking a friendly Business Services Representative. You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients in person or by phone, and handling appointment scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification.

You will also collect copays, coordinate pre-authorizations and referrals, and help prepare charts to keep visits smooth and efficient, supporting our providers in delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
• Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity.
