Job summary

Thurston Medical Clinic, part of Praxis Health, is seeking an experienced Medical Office Support professional for a full-time role. You will greet, screen, and schedule patients, enter correct information into electronic health records, and perform clerical duties to support clinical services.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year medical front office experience, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service, be highly organized and detail oriented.
• High school diploma or GED is required; 1+ year medical front office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, screen, and schedule patients.
• Input patient information into electronic health records and support platforms.
• Perform clerical duties related to clinical service and medical receptionist tasks.
• Answer routine medical administrative inquiries and manage telephone communications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate scheduling for provider and patient time.
• Assist in medical record maintenance and in-office equipment care.
