Job summary

Clarity Clinic is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our interdisciplinary private practice in Evanston. This full-time, onsite role focuses on welcoming patients, scheduling, medication coordination, insurance verification, and ensuring a smooth patient journey.

You will work closely with clinicians and operations staff to deliver high-touch, compassionate service across EMR systems and multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or five years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
• Strong communication skills with a warm, empathetic approach to patient care.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work across multiple locations if needed.
• Proficiency in healthcare technology and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, SMS, and patient portal.
• Serve as the welcoming, professional first point of contact for new and returning patients.
• Address inquiries, appointment scheduling, medication requests, and care coordination.
• Assist with patient emergencies or admissions in a calm, supportive manner.
• Accurately maintain and update patient records and support communications.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payments.
