Job summary

Fast Pace Health seeks a Patient Care Specialist to provide administrative support in a fast-paced clinic. You will greet patients, register demographics, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate with nurses and providers to keep patient flow smooth and positive.

A High School Diploma or equivalent and current CPR certification are required, with 1 year of customer service experience preferred. Proficiency with MS Outlook and Word is expected, and basic MS Excel skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with CPR license.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word; basic Excel skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with a high level of service.
• Accurately collect and input patient demographics and insurance information.
• Verify and update patient insurance at registration; collect co-pays or Self-Pay amounts.
• Maintain knowledge of medical insurance plans and changes to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate medical records and communicate with providers and staff.
• Keep reception area clean and organized; support cross-functional tasks as needed.
