STAR is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in Franklin, TN to act as the first point of contact for patients and customers, delivering friendly, efficient service while supporting medical office operations. The role combines customer service, administrative tasks, and basic patient care assistance.

You will coordinate appointments, verify insurance, manage EMR software, and remain the face of STAR in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years medical office receptionist experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Medical Record software; Raintree knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of Medical Insurance Verification & Authorization.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the delivery of health care through customer service and administrative tasks, and assisting with patient care.
• Acts as the first point of contact for patients and customers, serving as the voice and face of STAR.
• Supports health care delivery and administrative processes to ensure smooth operations.
