Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy seeks a Part-time Patient Care Coordinator in Franklin/Grassland to greet patients, handle front-desk duties, schedule appointments, and assist with patient flow. You will support clinicians and staff, maintain patient records, and coordinate with insurance providers.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year medical office experience, proficiency with MS Office, and familiarity with EMR software (Raintree a plus). Medical benefits and PTO are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ years medical office receptionist experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Medical Record software (Raintree a plus).
• Understanding of Medical Insurance Verification & Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates delivery of health care through customer service and administrative tasks, and assisting with patient care.
• First point of contact for patients & customers, the voice and face of STAR.
• Maintains an orderly condition of treatment, reception, and storage areas.

The Patient Care Coordinator facilitates the delivery of health care through customer service, administrative tasks, and assisting with patient care. As the first point of contact for our patients & customers, the Patient Care Coordinator is, quite literally, the voice & face of STAR!

Candidate should possess ability to maintain a pleasant and consistent flow in the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent customer service, effective communication with fellow employees, physician offices, patients, and insurance companies. The Patient Care Coordinator also maintains an orderly condition of treatment, reception, and storage areas.

• Education -- High School Diploma or equivalent.
