Job summary

Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Administrative Coordinator to be the first point of contact in our Chicago clinic. You will greet patients, verify appointments, collect payments, and coordinate scheduling with therapists to support patient success in therapy.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly, outgoing manner and verify appointments.
• Maintain 360 communication with patients, physicians, staff, and others involved in care; perform follow-ups.
• Maintain complex schedules and coordinate with therapists to meet patient needs.
• Assist patients with insurance questions; verify and explain benefits and obtain authorizations.
• Update and maintain records in EMR; process billing changes as needed.
• Collect copayments professionally and issue receipts.
