The role involves front desk support, patient scheduling, insurance verification, and coordinating with physicians and facilities. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with healthcare office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and database systems preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
• Experience in medical/therapy office administration preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid is a plus.
• Insurance verification experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer front desk calls, route messages, and greet visitors.
• Assist with scheduling and updating patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Medical Record system.
• Coordinate insurance authorizations and documentation.
• Perform light shipping/receiving of medical devices.
• Ensure a clean, organized office environment.
• Handle patient payments and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide coverage at other local Ottobock clinics if needed.
