UnitedHealth Group in New Albany, IN is hiring an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to greet patients, manage check-in, and support the front desk in a multi-specialty facility. This role partners with clinicians to ensure timely appointments and accurate records.

You will handle patient check-in/out, scheduling, medical record maintenance, HIPAA compliance, and contribute to Lean processes. Ideal candidates have strong communication, customer service and familiarity with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year of computer proficiency experience (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• 1+ year of customer service or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage wait time.
• Assist patients with checkout processes including copying documents.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Manage medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule).
• Ensure all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in a timely manner.
• Process requests for medical records release and maintain logs.
