Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient‑focused Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team. The position is full‑time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday, located at 6 Northwestern Dr. Bloomfield CT, with a schedule of 8am–6pm.

You will greet patients, check in/out, schedule appointments and manage payments in the EHR, with EPIC experience preferred. Benefits and competitive pay available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year receptionist or customer service experience.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in/check-out patients.
• Answer calls and document inquiries in the EHR.
• Schedule appointments using standard protocols.
• Balance payments and prepare deposits.
• Maintain demographic information and confidentiality.
• Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations as needed.
• Support care team with administrative tasks.
