Professional PT, a leading provider of physical, occupational, and hand therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and ensure a positive patient experience.

You will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, handle registration and data entry, discuss insurance and payments, and support day-to-day administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in healthcare.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients
• Answer phones
• Schedule patient appointments
• Complete new patient registration and data entry
• Discuss insurance benefits, authorization requirements and payment responsibilities
• Collect patient balances (copay/deductible/coinsurance)
• Perform standard day-to-day clinical administrative responsibilities
