Professional PT, a leading provider of physical, occupational, and hand therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator. You will be the first contact for patients, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive patient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma and experience in customer service or healthcare administration, with strong communication and organization to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in healthcare.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients
• Answer phones
• Schedule patient appointments
• Complete new patient registration and data entry
• Discuss insurance benefits, authorization requirements and payment responsibilities
• Collect patient balances (copay/deductible/coinsurance)
• Perform standard day-to-day clinical administrative responsibilities
