Skin and Cancer Institute is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator for an on-site, full-time role in Las Cruces, NM. You will greet patients, manage front desk operations, verify insurance, collect payments, and support clinical staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic flow.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, be HIPAA compliant, and proficient with EMA and Lightspeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare operations.
• Additional training or certification in medical office administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in/out per customer service standards.
• Verify insurance details and collect patient information at check-in.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and EMA entries.
• Schedule and manage appointments and provider schedules.
