Healthy Connections is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our Texarkana team. You will support patients by handling clerical tasks, scheduling appointments, and coordinating payments to ensure smooth visits in a busy medical office.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. A bilingual Spanish option is preferred, and travel to multiple locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Two years of experience in a medical office.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and network systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel to various locations and meetings.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle essential clerical tasks to prepare patients for visits and ensure smooth flow of operations.
• Arrange payment plans and schedule reappointments as needed.
• Answer calls, manage appointment scheduling, and maintain electronic charts.
• Collect and verify accurate payment information and process fees during visits.
• Fax, scan and manage documents to keep records organized.
