Akumin Atlantis seeks a Patient Coordinator to join our outpatient radiology team. You will greet patients, register them in systems, verify insurance, and assist with documentation to ensure a smooth visit and clear patient expectations.

This full-time role supports mobile and fixed radiology environments and requires strong customer service and multi-tasking. Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, scheduling, basic insurance verification, and delivering accurate records while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification must be obtained prior to hire for Mobile Radiology.
• Valid state driver's license may be required.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, customers and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register patients in various systems and verify insurance.
• Answer calls professionally and handle time-of-service payments.
• Prepare patient records and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• May transport patients and provide pre/post-procedure instructions.
