Qualifications

• Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
• Checking patients in and out and verifying demographic information.
• Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate staff.
• Responding to patient questions and providing general information.
• Processing referrals, authorizations, and medical records requests.
• Coordinating communication between patients, providers, pharmacies, and other departments.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient information in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Assisting with prescription refill requests according to office workflow.
