Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in the Med Surg IU 2 Cardiac unit is seeking a part-time Administrative Coordinator. The role coordinates tests and treatments across departments, supports patient flow, and ensures accurate documentation in the EMR.

Schedule is Day Shift 6:30 am to 7:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays; 24 hours per week. Requires high school diploma or GED/HSED, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to maintain patient information with care.

Qualifications

• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate tests across departments for patient care.
• Accurate data entry and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tests and treatments across departments to schedule tests.
• Facilitate communications and manage paging and calls.
• Maintain EMR and order patient supplies and charges.
• Prepare admissions, transfers, and records as needed.
• Verify patient information and registration accuracy.
• Support positive customer relations and age-appropriate care.
