Job summary

Shields MRI in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Patient Care Representative/Tech Aide on a per diem basis. You will provide exceptional customer service with professionalism, efficiency and accuracy, greeting patients, collecting copays, and explaining forms.

Work with technologists to ensure smooth patient flow, assist with check-in, protect privacy, and manage schedule-related tasks while maintaining accurate data entry and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to multi task and exceed customer expectations is required.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time while data entry and information intake via phone.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, collect copay/deductible and explain consent forms.
• Assist patients with iPad check-in and troubleshoot as needed.
• Recognize when language services are needed and act accordingly.
• Distribute films/CDs while maintaining HIPAA and privacy policy.
• Collaborate with technologists/radiologists to ensure patient flow.
• Process outgoing/incoming mail and deliveries.
• Prepare setup for next day’s appointments and flag issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of all customer groups.
• Verify and enter information into systems and handle scheduling emergencies.
