Optum in Golden, CO is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to greet and register patients, collect payments, and guide visitors. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00AM–5:30PM, with 40 hours per week at 1030 Johnson Rd, Golden, CO.

Responsibilities include check-in/out, insurance verification, handling co-pays, posting payments, managing medical records, answering phones, and scheduling appointments while maintaining courteous, accurate service and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience with strong communication.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive and manage wait time.
• Complete check-in and check-out tasks including insurance verification and pre-authorizations.
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issue receipts.
• Manage cashier box and daily deposits per policy.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Maintain medical records and related logs.
