Job summary

Tulane University Campus Health is seeking a Patient Representative to join our team in New Orleans. The role handles front desk operations, greets patients and visitors, verifies insurance, answers phones, schedules appointments, and manages checkout with a focus on exceptional service.

You will work closely with the Senior Patient Representative to coordinate patient care with nurses and providers, helping uphold the clinic’s high standard of care and operational integrity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of office experience including one year of customer service.
• Three years of medical setting experience (preferred).
• Experience with third party billing and insurance (preferred).
• Certified as CNA, Pharmacy Technician, Laboratory Technician, or Medical Services Coder (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, verify insurance, answer phones, schedule appointments.
• Check out patients after visits and provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate patient care with nurses and providers; support front desk operations.
