Qualifications

• Must be organized, efficient, with solution-based thinking.
• Must have strong English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• General office experience is preferred.
• Ability to train and supervise front office staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet the patient and family and be sensitive to their needs.
• Schedule all cases and maintain the appointment schedule.
• Coordinate patient schedule with surgery schedule and liaise with physician offices and ASC.
• Ensure patient charts are complete and accurate before surgery date.
• Handle calls, route messages, and maintain registrations and insurance information.
• Process and receipt monies and manage petty cash.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance for patient records.
• Assist the Director with QA and performance improvement activities.
• Act as liaison between surgical team and patient's family.
