Qualifications

• Front Desk or other Administrative experience in a medical office required.
• English must be the primary language; Chinese preferred; Spanish or Korean language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line phones and direct callers or handle needs.
• Greet patients on arrival, register them and obtain insurance information.
• Maintain front desk and lobby appearance.
• Greet and assist doctors, residents, vendors, and visitors.
• Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Maintain logs related to duties.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Learn and use software/technology such as EMR and Microsoft Office.
• Call patients and surgeons to remind them of upcoming procedures.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Cross-train in other departments.
