Total Primary Care in Texas is seeking a friendly, organized Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our Primary Care practice. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, handle prior authorizations, verify insurance, process co-pays, assist with referrals, and follow up on patient needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a patient coordinator or related training.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and protocols.
• Positive attitude with high attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with warmth, by phone and in person.
• Schedule appointments, prior authorizations, insurance verifications and co-pays.
• Assist with referrals, insurance verification, and patient follow-up.
