Job summary

Total Primary Care in Texas is seeking a friendly Patient Coordinator to be the first contact for our Primary Care practice. You’ll help patients feel heard and cared for, handling scheduling, front office tasks, and basic insurance verifications with warmth.

If you have at least one year of experience in a patient coordinator role and a working knowledge of medical terminology, you’ll fit right in with a team that values kindness, reliability, and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a patient coordinator or related training.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and protocols.
• Positive attitude and high attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with warmth — on the phone and in person
• Schedule appointments, prior authorizations, insurance verifications and co-pays
• Assist with referrals, insurance verification, and patient follow-up
• Keep our front office running smoothly while keeping patients smiling
