Job summary

Forever Fit Physical Therapy and Wellness is seeking a Clinic Support Specialist to be the heartbeat of our outpatient orthopedic clinic. You will welcome patients, support check-in, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations from first visit onward.

You will assist with exercise demonstrations, manage scheduling, verify insurance, collect payments, and support therapists to keep sessions on time in a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Strong multitasker with excellent customer service instincts.
• Interest in physical therapy, exercise physiology, or healthcare administration.
• Comfortable with basic computer/clerical work.
• Basic health insurance knowledge a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients from check-in through their first visit and beyond.
• Assist patients with exercise execution and place them on modalities as directed.
• Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts before they arise.
• Confirm new patient paperwork and verify insurance benefits and authorizations.
• Collect copays and balances with professionalism.
• Fill same-day cancellations and keep the following week's schedule full.
• Perform basic clerical work and data entry in the EHR system.
• Assist therapists to keep sessions on time and rooms ready.
• Turn over treatment rooms and keep equipment organized and sanitized.
• Monitor and restock supplies to prevent shortages.
• Maintain a clean, calm, organized clinic environment.
