Job summary

LifeStance Health in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a Medical Services Coordinator to coordinate medical care and support patients and psychiatric clinicians. You will ensure quality customer service for in-person and remote patients and clinicians, starting at $21.00/hour with quarterly bonus potential.

Responsibilities include handling prior authorizations, lab orders, records requests, and coordination of patient forms, as well as telehealth access and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; associates/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role.
• Professionalism and decision-making responsibilities emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive work environment and support clinician engagement.
• Provide strong customer service and respond quickly to patient needs.
• Assist psychiatric clinicians with prior authorizations, lab orders, and records requests.
• Coordinate patient questions between patients, medical staff, and pharmacies.
• Manage phone systems and provide medication-related support.
• Assist in telehealth access and patient portal issues.
• Triage urgent requests and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate external referrals for patient care.
