Job summary

Horizon Health and Wellness, Inc. in Arizona seeks a Customer Care Representative to join our fast-paced medical call center. You will be responsible for accurate data entry of demographics and insurance information, handling calls, and scheduling diverse appointments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; education and/or experience equivalent to 2 years preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess knowledge of telephone etiquette and experience handling multiple telephone lines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Proficient in use of computers, electronic health record and software programs.
• Possess valid driver’s license, home/Cell phone and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
• Must obtain and maintain a Fingerprint clearance card and pass a background check.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain a positive and helpful attitude with customers, providers and clinic operations.
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written directions as they relate to the functions listed above.
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective teamwork skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• The Customer Care Representative operates in a fast-paced medical call center environment and works together to emphasize excellent customer service and our \"Kindness Matters\" philosophy.
• The role is responsible for accurate typing and collection of demographic and insurance information.
• Handles incoming calls, answers questions, and schedules various types of appointments.
