Job summary

Mercy is looking for a patient care assistant (PCA) to assist in individualized patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN. You will be part of a collaborative team, performing designated clinical procedures and essential non-clinical support tasks to help patients reach their highest wellness.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC or enrolled in a healthcare program.
• Licensure/Certifications: BLS required within 1 month of hire; PCA competencies within 3 months.
• Experience: None required.
• Training: 175-hour Mercy-provided training during orientation within 90 days.
• Preferred: CNA certification.
