Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Associate to support a 30-bed Med/Surg unit. Under guidance of RN/LPN, you will assist with daily patient care tasks including meals, hygiene, mobility, and routine monitoring.

The role includes onboarding through an accredited apprenticeship program, with hands-on training and a pathway to advancement to PCT. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany day-shift, full-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC certification preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; standing and walking required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
