Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring a Patient Care Associate (PCA) for the day shift. Under RN/LPN supervision, you provide individualized patient care, assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and vital signs, and support the care team on a 30-bed Med/Surg unit.

This full-time role offers a 36-hour week with weekend/holiday rotation, a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and benefits starting day one, including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) match, and tuition support as you grow from PCA toward advanced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment preferred.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in EMR.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Phlebotomy and blood culture collection.
• Enteral feeding administration.
• Wound care.
• IV and Foley catheter removal.
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning.
