Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Associate to join the Medical/Surgical unit for night shifts. You will work under the direction of an RN or LPN to support individualized patient care and ensure smooth unit operations.

Responsibilities include vital signs, activities of daily living support, and light clerical duties. Training programs and advancement toward Patient Care Technician are available, with a sign-on bonus for night shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment in a healthcare program preferred.
• No prior healthcare experience required.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
