Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington seeks a Patient Care Associate (PCA) to assist in individualized patient care under RN or LPN guidance in our 30-bed Medical/Surgical unit. The night shift is full-time with weekend and holiday rotation.

This role includes a $3,000 night shift sign-on bonus, benefits from day one, and a clear growth path to Patient Care Technician (PCT) with duties such as phlebotomy, feeding administration, wound care, and catheter management.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment in a healthcare career program preferred.
• No prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and accurately document in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with patient needs: meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
