Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Associate/Patient Care Technician to assist in individualized patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN. Full- and part-time hours are available, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

The role includes opportunities for career ladder advancement, training through an accredited Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program, and hands-on experience in a supportive health care environment. Eligibility for benefits begins day one.

Qualifications

• Must assist in individualized patient care under RN/LPN direction.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in electronic medical records.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, mobility, and transport.
• Provide PCA/PCT duties including phlebotomy, enteral feeding, wound care, IV/FOLEY removal, and trach care/suctioning.
