Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certificate of completion of a medical assistant/patient care assistant program.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with the care team.
• Training documentation for Medical Assistant/Patient Care Associate.
• 3–9 months healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and stay flexible.
• English literacy for effective communication.
• American Heart Association Heartsaver or BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with patient care activities, including daily living tasks.
• Perform and record vital signs and other clinical data as assigned.
• Support with patient transport, intake/output, and data documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with meal delivery and feeding.
• Assist with procedures setup and patient movement, ensuring comfort and safety.
