Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Associate to work under RN/LPN supervision in our Cardiac Telemetry unit. You will take vital signs, assist with meals, bathing, mobility, and transport, and support the care team to help patients reach their highest wellness.

No prior experience is required; full training is provided through our Department of Labor Apprenticeship program, with a 175-hour orientation and BLS within a month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or enrollment in healthcare programs.
• CNA/CPTC preferred.
• No prior experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs in electronic medical records.
• Assist patients with meals, bathing, toileting, mobility, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
